Sad to say, the old bustling me is a thing of the past. Nowadays, I have been feeling restless, and the usual routine of watching animes have turned to a demeaning and stressing task... The inactive and quiet life I’m leading now leaves a hollow emptiness in my spirit, and the things that used to have a positive impact on me now reminds me of hopelessness. To tell the truth, I’m going through a tough part of my life right now.
Although there are many tasks out there waiting for me to complete, I cannot help but procrastinate at the very thought of working. For a start, I have to work on improving my Chinese, which has always been my weakness. I find it especially hard, to express myself in Chinese, mainly due to the words being confusing and ... hard to grasp. You see, the very idea of picking up my Chinese idiom book gives me the creeps. As someone who seeks enjoyment in whatever I do, I simply cannot stand the long hours of learning chinese, which seems so mundane and boring. I believe that it’s my own fault mainly, for never putting in an effort to memorise and learn more chinese words. At this rate, I’ll simply rot away at home, both physically and mentally.
